Michael Ausiello reports that the fabulous and talented Melinda Clarke, beloved to many as Julie Cooper from The O.C. (along with many other roles), will be coming to Mystic Falls for three episodes this season, beginning in March. Regarding Clarke’s role, Ausiello reports:
“Sources confirm to me exclusively that Vampire Diaries has tapped the inimitable Melinda Clarke (The O.C., CSI) to play Kelly Donovan, Matt’s irresponsible, hard-drinking absentee mother.”
