I’m glad that it is growing on you. Yeah, the show has really improved as it has gone along, and as you can tell I’ve become quite obsessed with it. I’m glad that you read the recap, as I tend to reference Buffy quite a lot in my TVD recaps. It’s a compulsion. But really, there are some definite comparisons. Bonnie is so Willow, right? I’m looking forward to when she goes dark and tries to destroy the world. ;P Kidding.

It’s true, this episode really was SO Buffy “What’s My Line” what with the Career Fair and “Oh don’t kiss me, you shouldn’t have to see my face this way.” That can’t be a coincidence, can it?

This show has really grown on me.

I missed Bonnie as well – she only had one scene! Hopefully there is a lot with her in the upcoming episodes.

Yeah, the Tyler thing seems obvious to me too, and I agree that it was probably not him on the road, but you never know – it was a full moon and maybe he’s compelled to be out and about. I guess it will sort of depend on how the show decides to handle the werewolf aesthetic. It seems most likely that it is another vampire, but that almost seems TOO easy, right? Either way, I’m intrigued.

As for Alaric, he’s too awesome to be evil and standing in the middle of the road and causing car crashes.

Can’t wait till January! I loves the Stefan/Elena scenes. They were so romantic. When he turned arround and she told him he didn’t have to hide from her, it was so excepting.
I really got to comment on the amazing acting in this episode!
perfect except for one thing: Where was bonnie?

I think the whole Tyler thing was sort of obvious with the full-moon. It is not like anyone wonders what he will become. At first I thought it would be him on the road but I don’t think that anymore. The whole breaking every bone in your body and just straightening out your arms isn’t very werewolf like if you ask me. But I can’t come up with an idea of what it was!

If I only saw the show I would say it was Alaric. But I’ve read the books and know that he is good. So… how many days till January?
