Kate Vernon joins ‘Heroes’!

Greg Grunberg has revealed via his Twitter account that Kate Vernon (aka the fabulous Ellen Tigh from Battlestar Galactica) has possibly joined the cast of Heroes: “Spoiler: Another CYLON invades #Heroes. http://yfrog.com/jdvsyj.” It would also appear from the photo that Vernon will act opposite Robert Knepper’s fascinating new character, Samuel Sullivan. It’s all speculation, but I couldn’t resist posting, as I’m a huge fan of Vernon’s work on Battlestar. I hope this wasn’t just a set visit! Click below to see a larger version of the photo:

Update 11/12/09: Greg Grunberg has confirmed, again via Twitter, that Kate Vernon has indeed joined Heroes: “Kate Vernon from BSG is now on #Heroes — can’t wait for you guys to see her. The 5th!!” Battlestar fans will know what “The 5th” refers to (it’s not a date), so I won’t spoil it for newbies. Now I’m definitely glad that I decided to keep watching this show!

So far I’m enjoying this season more than the last. There are some missteps, but I’m not angry about the show anymore.
