Heather Locklear will grace the ratings-challenged remake with her fabulously entertaining presence. That’s right, our favorite blonde advertising titan returns to Melrose Place. Michael Ausiello reports:

Seems like “the powers that be” are recycling old shows. Melrose Place, 90210, etc. I’m looking for them to recycle Gunsmoke, Barnaby Jones, The Rockford Files, etc., as well. Let’s hope not. Is this just a lack of new ideas, or consumer demand at play?
Now, a show I’d love to see recycled (but with the same characters and cast) is, of course, Buffy. Will never happen, but I can dream…..
It does seem to be a big trend right now. As for Buffy, I hope they wait a long time before redoing it … although there is supposedly a rebooted movie in the works, without Joss’s involvement, and without the original movie or show cast. We’ll see.
