I watched 8 episodes of Dollhouse before I had to return it to the library. It wasn’t bad, quite honestly. I didn’t think it was great, but I didn’t hate it. Eliza Dushku looked different than she did when she was in Buffy. There was a hotness factor going on that was lacking in her Faith days. Of course, Dollhouse can’t touch Buffy. I tend to compare series. Sorry. I’ve requested Dollhouse again from the library to finish it up, so we’ll see what happens. To complicate things, I hear the last episode of the first season is separate. Where can I get that?
Do you have any idea where I can buy Buffy pajamas? I’ve been looking forever. I also would like a Lorne t-shirt. I did find one, but it sucks….
In my opinion, the last few episodes of Dollhouse were the best of the season. I agree that Eliza looked very different–she really got super-buff. The last episode of the season, the mythical 13th (although it’s the 14th if you count the unaired pilot), is on the DVD set. It’s called “Epitaph One,” and is on disk 4, with the special features. It never aired on US television, but it IS on the regular DVD set. It’s also on iTunes.
Regarding Buffy pajamas, the only ones I know of are the Yummy Sushi ones (Buffy wore them in season 4): http://www.thecatspjs.com/sushi-poplin.html I don’t know of any Lorne shirts, but I have some Firefly t-shirts from the following site, so you could check there: http://www.stylinonline.com/ Lorne is awesome.
Thanks, heroinetv. When my queue comes up again at the library, I’ll look for Epitaph One at the end. Eliza does look buff, plus she has that skank factor goin’ on in a couple of the episodes. Some guys (and gals) like that, ya know.
I want Buffy pajama pants with the faces of all the major Buffy characters that we know and love, so that I can be close to them while I sleep. I do need help. It’s sooooo sad about Andy Hallett. His Wiki page said his cardiomyopathy was the result of a dental infection. God, life really does suck. Maybe Bfest or another Buffy website will create a Lorne t-shirt. Or hey, maybe you’ll do the honors. How hard can it be? I love Lorne. My favorite Angel character, by far.
As for Firefly, I just can’t get into it. I simply don’t understand what’s so wonderful about Firefly. I don’t get it. Help me understand! Heellllppppppp mmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
well if you watch the whole season of firefly and are not into by then there is probably no hope for you
I second that. I guess Firefly isn’t for everyone, as much as that pains me.
francesca and heroinetv,
Well, to be completely honest, I was so bored with Firefly I couldn’t make it to the end of the season (and neither could the series, for that matter). I watched 6 or 7 episodes and was absolutely bored to tears. Perhaps I’ll give it another go and attempt to finish it some time in the future. I honestly think there is a lot of irrational fan love revolving around Whedon’s shows, mostly libtard sycophant Whedon hero worshippers who are onboard with Whedon’s weltanschauung and attempt a synthesization of that love with the shows he creates, however substandard those shows might be (present company excluded, of course).
As for myself, the only Whedon show I really love is Buffy. Everything else is like grits without butter….
