Jennifer Ehle: the future Catelyn Stark
Check out the links below for the latest casting news on the upcoming HBO series Game of Thrones (based on George R.R. Martin’s A Game of Thrones)–including the casting of Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Daenerys (Tamzin Merchant), Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), King Robert (Mark Addy), Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), etc. I especially recommend that you take a look at George R.R. Martin’s “Not A Blog” because he is hilarious. Apparently, he’s been releasing obscure clues about the casting for weeks. As I posted previously, Sean Bean has been cast as Ned Stark, and Jennifer Ehle will be playing Catelyn Stark (she is one tough lady). I am currently reading the book on which this show is based–the first book in Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. I am loving the book, and look forward to the HBO production.
