Exciting day in Whedonverse casting news: Gina Torres & James Marsters!

Two of my favorite actors have just been cast in two of my favorite shows. Gina Torres (Zoe in Firefly & Anna Espinoza in Alias) will be playing Vanessa’s mom on Gossip Girl. James Marsters will be playing a terrorist on Caprica (the upcoming Battlestar Galactica spin-off). Now, when Gina is done on GG, she should move on over to Caprica. Just saying.
