Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Starz will be featuring a new drama about the Roman gladiator Spartacus. I have included the video below, for your enjoyment (that may be too strong a word). I’ve been looking forward to this, as Steven DeKnight (writer on Angel, Smallville) is one of the executive producers. However, it looks a bit like gladiator porn+ gladiator horror. We shall see. As a Roman historian, I have to watch it, regardless … if only to scream at the historical errors.

Update: I found out that Lucy Lawless is in it, so now I’m sold.
